Bart Mahnken
Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, Bart learned firsthand that relationships are everything. After earning his BBA from Texas Tech University, Bart relocated from Lubbock to DFW where he began his insurance career. Bart has dedicated the last 25+ years protecting his clients from financial hardship. In doing so, he has cultivated lifelong friendships with thousands of families. Bart has earned his LUTCF and CLCS professional designations.
Bart lives in Plano with his wife Adriane. He has 2 daughters, Ansley and Haley. Ansley is attending Texas A&M University and Haley is a graduate of Texas A&M university and now pursuing her PA degree. The family enjoys being together, traveling, and outdoor activities with their 2 dogs.
Bart volunteers with various programs including FCA (Homestead Elementary), Honey Dudes, and the Kindness Revolution. His family attends Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton Texas. Bart has led a Thursday Night Men’s Group for the last 12+ years.
Tim Ervin
Tim Ervin was born and raised in Plano, Texas, and now lives in Collin County with his wife, Katie, and their three daughters. Two of their girls attend elementary school in Melissa ISD, and family life keeps them busy in the best way. When he’s not working, Tim enjoys spending time by the pool, playing guitar, and taking care of the family’s collection of pets—which includes a friendly dog named Marshmellow, several aquariums, and a couple of tarantulas.
Before launching BuiltRite Risk Solutions, Tim spent seven years in the banking industry, working in member services and eventually leading the support team in the collections department. He transitioned into insurance in 2020 and has since held leadership and training roles, helping clients and fellow agents navigate the often confusing world of risk and coverage.
Tim founded BuiltRite in 2024 with a clear goal: to offer a more personal, straightforward experience for commercial clients who value honest advice and reliable service. His philosophy is simple—help first, sell second. Whether someone becomes a client or not, Tim believes every conversation should leave them better informed and more confident in their next step.
